Part 1: Our heroes heard of a strange tower that suddenly appeared outside of Uljer. When they arrived, they saw that the tower appeared to have no upper limit, and there were several floors completely missing. When our heroes (rather foolishly) entered the tower, there were two staircases marked 6 and 300,000. The adventurers took the staircase marked 6, and found themselves on a floor with several zombies and a black hole. While the zombies didn’t put up much of a fight, the black hole kept growing in strength, forcing our heroes to make all haste to the “next” floor. On the way up, they looked out a window and found an image utterly alien and unable to describe. The next floor had 12 windows, all arranged in a circular pattern, with two stopped clock hands on the floor. As the adventurers walked around the room, they began to age and de-age at a rapid pace. Outside, a bird was frozen in mid-flight. A ritual started the hands moving again, and the thousands of years of built up history quickly ran their course. As the heroes climbed the tower, even more trouble awaited them. More zombies awaited, but something quickly became apparent: these zombies had been suffering the ill effects of time. After they fell, a strange device was blocking the next floor. A bomb. X…IX….VIII..VII…VI..V…IV…III…II..I..I…I. Unfortunately, there aren’t any roman numerals for zero, thus stopping the bomb from ever going off. The next floor contained a vast amount of silver.

XP: 700 per player.
They continued upward, and found a strange room with 4 corridors leading out of it. They soon discovered that each way out just lead right back in to the same room, and they had to find the right pattern of doors to go through in order to advance. As they moved upward further still, they found a room with an odd glass case in it. They found tiny versions of themselves, and those tiny versions mirrored their movements exactly. The disturbing part was the sudden wave of zombies that englfed the minis in the case. As they turned around, it looked as if the same fate would befall them as hordes of zombies started appearing. Just as all seemed lost when the biggest horde yet seen appeared, a goliath appeared out of nowhere and smashed the case, sending giant glass shards slicing through the zombies. A rope led up through the glass case, and our heroes advanced several floors by way of climbing. When they reached the top, they appeared to be on the roof, with one minor flaw: they were only six floors off the ground. When they looked up, they saw more tower suspended above them. Suddenly, a wizard called out to them. His name was Xemit, and he was having trouble perfecting the elixer of life. Our heroes believed him to be evil, and charged. Several of them got suspended from time. When the rest decided to talk it out, he explained his wide past, and his work on his tower. He seemed to be a bit out of date, believing it to be the year 700. At this point, our heroes noticed that the tower was disappearing at a rapid rate. The goliath grabbed an hourglass, and with Xemit himself fading away, he reached out to him. As Xemit grabbed the hourglass, the magic holding the tower in place snapped, and it disappeared. The tower gone, our heroes plummeted towards the ground, but were lucky enough to survive. The goliath found a glimmering sword made of ice, with many runes in it, that said it’s name was Miracognin. A powerful ally was found, and our heroes set out once more, eager to investigate this mystery.
